The challenge
What the homeowners needed
A dark, formal dining room sat unused most of the year while the family crowded into the kitchen.
Our solution
How we approached it
We widened the opening to the living room, refinished the floors, added a plaster fireplace surround and layered lighting so the room works for weeknights and holidays alike.
